Rainbow Tree Space of Love nestled within Promissol Community

Kauai blessed us with many wonders. We felt from the first day very inspired by her spiritual beauty and are very grateful for the Hawaiian culture whose Spirit of Aloha strongly breathes into our hearts, even after so many cultures infiltrated in their way of living.

Very fast we encountered and intertwined with the beautiful Ohana (community) of Kauai. We offered weekly activities for children and organized many seasonal and other community events. Very fast our circle became bigger and families became interested in our vision.

In sharing our vision and mission it became clear how much our understanding, approach and methodology differ from the normal way of operating. We understood the importance of presenting a physical example, so people can feel and experience what we are talking about.

In 2008 we were called to a land, called Wai Koa Plantation. The owner, former Bill Porter (passed away in Oct. 2015), graciously offered a 25-year lease on a piece of land of 10 acres to implement our vision: a school nestled within a community. Even though the conditions had some limitations –a 25-year lease and no possibility for legal permitting– we accepted the offer in total trust.

And so, on August 8 2008, a wonderful journey begun on this barren piece of land:

This is where we called in the co-creation of the Deva of Kauai, the Deva of Wai Koa and the Deva of Lubof to anchor in harmony with all Kingdoms and dimensions the vision of Living in Universal Beauty as One family.

This is where we started Rainbow Tree, a Space of Love for Living, Loving and Learning together.

Both, Bill and his wife Joan, were very supportive and aware of each of our projects.

Our first ‘classroom’

was the Aloha Lodge; which expanded in different tent structures.

Because of the wet climate, the tent and other structures became too challenging;

we ‘closed’ the Rainbow Tree activities until we had better buildings …

other development followed;

Around us, other organizations came and implemented their projects with beauty and loving care. There is a market garden with apprenticeship program, food forest, farm animals, youth and community gardens … we form a small ‘village’ of 20 people. What was a barren piece of land is now a little paradise where children happily play around …

We organized many musical, educational, spiritual and playful activities for young and old. We offered a possibility for having a retreat time in a spiritual community setting.

In 2013, the owner Bill Porter agreed to make the generous offer to put this land (part of a parcel of 175 acres) into a Land Trust for perpetuity, in order that all projects could continue for generations to come. We received this news through verbal announcement in presence of our larger community.

The Sanctuary of Lubof received another piece of land (8 acres) to anchor the campus for Soul Essence Education, Rainbow Tree Space of Love. With this foundation we chose to ground and expand our vision even more and started the building for the new start-up of Rainbow Tree Space of Love:

We uphold four criteria:

1- beautiful ; 2- simple ; 3- practical ; 4- economical.

We started in May 2013,

and worked in phases as donations and volunteers became available.

On July 1st 2014 we consecrated our building; more than 50 people came to celebrate with us this glorious moment.

We continue some more finishing jobs: adding the entrance, covering the decks, creating the center mandala, bringing the water inside, making the screens, putting the tiles on the roof and installing the landscaping.

In september we opened up our educational activities !

We then had 9 community members, beehives, 300 fruit trees starting to offer their fruits, two gardens, woodshop, a running school and many different classes … all in its full expansion.

Then, after Bill passed away (oct 2015), we received, out of the blue, the request of vacating residency on the land on March 31, 2017

So we did, we closed the school activities and our other community events. All of our members found another place to live. There was some sadness in our heart and also some pride because this short and imperfect manifestation has touched and inspired a lot of hearts …

And that’s where we are now.

Looking for a place to anchor, co-create and share this vision

and touch many more hearts …

With the blessing of this past journey we are opening up for the new blessing that awaits our next journey …
